product, only expensive AS/RS crane systems could give
you the efficiency of unattended in-aisle activities. AppliDyn

FLEXIBILITY
The modular design of the Shuttle's lift platform allows
for the basic design to be applied to a wide variety of
applications. For example, if you have a stationary load
that must be picked off of a stand, the telescoping
platen can
reach in both directions to fully service cross-aisle
layouts. But, if your load is of a palletized nature, the
servo-driven conveyor
deck would be
the better fit.
 ACCESSIBILITY
AppliDyn has
developed a set of drivers to allow for easy connectivity
between PLCs and microcomputers, and between
microcomputers and host computers. This functionality
enables your existing information systems to be the
driving force behind the Shuttle. Of course, fully
functional stand-alone microcomputer systems are readily
available as well.
